Our install process begins with grinding the concrete. We check the surface hardness, and use the corresponding diamond blades to remove 1/8 inch off the concrete surface.
The next step is to assess and repair the concrete. We use a polyurea based mender to fill any pits or cracks to restore the concrete back to its original condition.
After repairing the concrete it is now ready for basecoat. Our polyurea basecoat is applied to the concrete and adheres to the surface, creating an unbreakable bond.
During the basecoat process the desired flake color will be heavily broadcasted throughout the floor, ensuring proper coverage.
After the basecoat and flake has been applied (minimum of 1 hour), the floor can be scraped to remove any extra flake that did not adhere to the basecoat.
Topcoat is the final step in the process. After the floor has been evenly scraped, the topcoat is then applied to add the final gloss finish that everyone has come to know and love.
